FIRST OFF IS GOING TO BE WATER
I cant stress enough on the importance of water. You already are required to take in 8 glasses a day. - GET RID OF THE RED MEATS?
- NO! Not Unless you just want to kick the red meat off the menu. We will learn to rationalize the amount we take in, in a way that your body will compliment you for doing so. By building your meals around fish and poultry, you will dramatically decrease the amount of calories your body takes in on the average. Try to stay away from fast food meals which are over-sized and high in fat. If you just must because your on the go or out with friends or whatever, try to consider a grilled chicken sandwich or a salad or something of that nature. Be sure to pay attention to calories in different sauces and salad dressing. Be wary of creamy, high-calorie condiments like tartar sauce or special sauce on grilled chicken sandwiches.
- GET RID OF THE GREASE?
Yes please, fried foods are destined to slow you down in this process. Try to keep your choices healthier, truly healthy by grilling, baking, roasting, broiling or boiling them. Grease is no friend to you.- Try to keep things interesting by adding low-calorie condiments to your usual meal. Barbecue sauce will give turkey or chicken a huge kick.
- Se to It that your spice rack is always full of herbs and spices so you can make your favorite dishes to your own taste without adding any additional fat or calories.
- I know its hard, I know………..but lets stay focused here the goal is to lose weight. Greasy foods will ultimately slow this process down.
- MAYBE A SOUP OR SALAD.
- Having a salad or cup of soup can be a habit that pays off in pounds-lost. They can curb your hunger, help prevent over eating, and help you stay in control of portions, which all are crucial to lose weight.
- Make your choice a broth- or tomato-based soup rather than a cream or milk based choice. Vegetable soup made with broth, stock, or tomato soup is considered to be ideal because the veggies will help fill you up and give you a fiber and nutrition boost.
- Dress your salad with a low calorie dressing. A good thing to remember would be that having a salad before every meal is going to give your body more fiber, something many of our diets are short on, which will also help you feel fuller sooner, which is going to be a huge factor in this equation.
- FINISH WITH A FRUIT.
Make a goal to finish off with naturally-sweetened fruit instead of sweet treats. Not only will you save fat and calories, you will also have the added benefit of extra vitamins, minerals and fiber. Few of us eat as much fruit as recommended. This will be a huge benefit to you, fruit is friendly. In time, you will become accustomed to bypassing sweets and you’ll look forward to a more healthier treat.
To lose a pound of fat, you must burn somewhere around 3000 calories over what you consume. For example: you consume 1000 calories a day. That is 7000 calories in a 7 day week. This means you must burn 10,000 calories to loose one pound. That sounds like a lot of calories and you certainly wouldn’t want to try to burn 3000 calories in one day. However, by taking it step-by-step, you can determine just what you need to do each day to burn or cut out those extra calories.
I hear how a lot of people just want to lose that unwanted belly fat. Well in that case, you need to know the truth about your abdominal area and how to treat it so that it does what you want it to do for you. Don’t convince yourself that targeting your exercising to your stomach area will promote weight loss to the stomach because thousands of people do. So let me help you before you convince yourself that doing a thousand sit-ups a day is going to help you to lose this unwanted tummy fat. There is no specific exercise, no specific food, or magic juice that is directly targeted toward belly fat. But you can ask any doctor, belly fat is the first fat you will start to lose when you start losing weight.
Whether your an apple shaped person with excess belly fat or a coca cola bottled shape person with moderate belly fat. When you start to lose weight you will lose more from the abdominal region than anywhere else. And why is that? “Visceral fat, the kind tucked deep inside your waistline, is more metabolically active and easier to lose than subcutaneous fat under the skin, especially if you have plenty of it. If you start going crazy because your doing a crazy amount of sit-ups and your stomach seems to be increasing here is why: you can not choose a spot to work out on your body and just lose weight in that specific area. Studies show all over the world your body doesn’t work like that.
Doing crunches and sit-ups you know will build your abdominal muscles, the thing is, If you don’t lose that fat on top of the muscles, as the muscle grows from the workout, your stomach can actually get bigger!
This is why it is important to know how this works. So you can have time well spent and not devoted to things that you think work. It’s actually possible to totally lose all of your belly fat without ever doing a single sit-up. Yes!
